With fat pseudobulbs and even larger pleated leaves, could be in the Bulbophyllum genus. Flowers help for ID. As for the holes....could be snail/slug damage, weevil or other chewing insect or just plain 'ol leaf damage from something striking the leaves.....Whatever it is, it looks healthy and looks like you will be getting flowers soon. In the last pic the 2 cream white growths might be flower spikes??????

That looks like snail damage to me. Is the plant in a pot or mounted? If it's in a pot the little buggers hide down in the medium during the day and come out at night to feed. Repotting is the simplest solution to ridding your plant of critters. If it's mounted I'm not sure what to do. I suppose you could wait until dark and try catching them in the act with a flashlight. Just pick n flick.

Just curious, how much is the average price of orchids over there. I remember some of our neighbors had them in their front yards but I didn't get hooked until recently.

u wouldnt believe i just got them for 1 dollar 50 pesos! lol! anyway i felt sad though coz i think these orchids came from the wild. I'm trying my luck to raise them coz i dont think wild vs inhouse care wouldnt be the same! errr.... what else... well ive check last nyt theres no holes in it. i just sprayed fungicide all over my orchids... its a bit dirty well lots of dirt around its leaves!! anyway! dats a bit for now ill update if something happened! i hope ill be able to raise them well! if it flowered then ill post some pics! Im planning to buy trichoglottis brachiata its a bit pricey though. roughly around 8 dollar or 300 pesos here!

Wow, that was a steal. Even $8 for a specie is pretty cheap. I have a friend visiting her family in Rizal next month, if only she can bring some back. Anyway, goodluck growing.

I don't think it is a Lycaste but possibly a Coelogyne.
