Question Cleaning pots and leaves - Rise and Shine maybe?

I was wondering if anyone has tried any product, like rise and shine to clean both plant leaves and pots from calcium/fungicide etc deposits.

Or if anyone has a homemade recipe to clean both I'd appreciate it.

Tami

Rise & Shine is primarily a surfactant that will work well on the leaves, and it also has some insecticidal and fungicidal properties.

It will not be good for the pots.

For cleaning mineral residues from pots, some have advised soaking them in hot water containing about a cup-per-gallon of Epsom Salts, while others state that citric acid is the way to go.

In my opinion, clay pots are not that expensive, so I get new ones.

Good point, but Ray, you don't happen to have a product that keeps cats away from orchids do you??

Already tried that, see in our house, I'm the dog person, hubby likes cats.

We have a 85lb very rotten Rottie and an equally spoiled cocker spaniel.

The rottie sleeps with hubby's orchid eating cat.

I give up..... Petey is the Cocker and Sasha the Rottie
