Fell in love with a Vanda at an orchid show today

I spent most of this afternoon at an orchid show. Aside from seeing some of the most beautiful orchids I learned a lot and met some really nice people.

I also joined my first society, East Everglades Orchid Society. What a great way to meet people!!

Of course you can not come home from a show empty handed so here's a few pics of the Vanda I fell in love with it is HUGE with pinkish tan flowers.

Sorry about the late reply. I counted this morning, 2 stalks with 5 on one 6 on the other for a total of 11 and I think I have another that has not bloomed yet.

Yes, that's the show I went too and had a fantastic time. I also joined the society.

I'll be heading out next weekend for the Redlands show looking for many a plant more or two and humidity trays, are you going to make that one?

They still have not arrived. I sent Bill and email asking about shipping etc but have not heard back.

The few I had left here I replanted some correctly and have 2 in bags trying to save them.

I'm happy to hear you joined the society...they are a great source of information. Two of my closest friendships came from meeting people at our club.
