Total newbie not with Hydro But with Orchids

I am Originally from CA, And i have been growing Various plants for the past 14 Years almost Half my life...I now want to Grow orchids Hydroponically I just don't know where to begin, Can I use Metal Halide and Hps lights?, I already have a lot of equipment and that is why I ask, also I do believe I can grow them In ebb n flow trays using 5"pots with clay pellets.....true? I have also read that they can take a lot higher temps from the usual things I have been growing in the past...Is this true? i have read that temps can reach 95f, I would also like to know are they hard to clone? I will be growing all this in an indoors climate controlled area..Do you use a simple rooting compound like Olivias cloning Gel? And one last Question...If i started from seed would it actually take 3 to 5 years before they flower, I read that today. I am going to My first meeting with an orchid society tomorrow, I love to grow plants and from the research I have done I can make a good profit, and when you can make money doing something you love well its not work its a passion! If I grow Orchids Say I grow a couple 100 Hydroponically, Is there money to be made? and I am very familiar with all aspects of Hydroponics that's why i want to grow them this way! Any Suggestions would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thank you for your time!
