Hi I got an orchid as a gift about a year ago, and kept it well for about 9 months maybe. Then I started noticing it had gotten too big for the pot it was in. I did some research and repotted it, but the pseudobulbs look wrinkled and some leaves are yellowish. I had kept it outside the house for a while but the leaves started getting holes on them ( im guessing from too much sun?)
Anyway the name it had ont he tag was

Gram. scriptum 'citrinum' "hihimanu" 4N

I have searched the web but I can't find what this plant
in particular needs (water, light, etc)

Can someone help me

I believe you are looking for a culture sheet on the Grammatphylum Genius of Orchid. Google "grammatphylum culture sheet" and you should be able to find lots of hits on references for your specific Orchid.

Hmmm I searched for that but can't find it. I'm really lost in this...so far I thought I was doing ok, but now im just confused. I guess what I would like to know is what I'm doing wrong, because I don't know if this plant is better off outside or inside, or what type of pot I should use for it and what size (because it seems to grow really fast). And so far I haven't given it any fertilizer...which one would be good?

How about:

Grammatophyllum Care Instructions
Grammatophyllum: Information from Answers.com
Grammatophyllum - Orchids Wiki
NationMaster - Encyclopedia: Grammatophyllum
Grammatophyllum Orchids,

That should get you started.

Mine is mounted and is out in the full sun here in Florida.
LOTS of light and it gets heavily misted at the root zone every day.
I give the leaves a very light mist just to cool them down and they are a very light green, almost yellow in color.

Susanne B: Would you mind posting a picture of yours mounted? I am curious how you worked that out. I REALLY wanted one of these but I was afraid it would grow huge (I have gram. elegans majus and measuresianum var Fiji and if they continue to grow at their current clip, they will be monsters). Thanks!

Mine are also outside, in direct sun and get watered daily in a fast draining potting mix. Under those conditions, these are probably the easiest orchids I have growing.
