What to do when local government restricts chemical sales of things like Physan 20?

I just spent most of the morning dealing with Nurseries and Hardware stores who've all told me they either don't carry or can't carry products like Physan 20, because it requires special licensing. I don't know if they're full of it, or if it actually is restricted.

Now if it IS, does that mean I'll have problems, even ordering and having this stuff delivered to me?

My fiance told me, wow now you have to pay for the chemical, shipping AND hazmat fees.

Anyone in Maryland got an ideas? Heh.

twix None of my local hardware stores or nurserys sell it and I order it no problem--- maybe contact the company and see what they have to say... I wouldnt think its a problem!

Just order it online. That's what I've done for the last 5 years from several different sources.

Sulphur is an excellent fungicide and will never be banned. Perhaps try that instead of physan and other toxic as hell fungicides.
