Nick, for me, the biggest problems are white fungus/mold on mini mounts. I also get a reddish rust-like growth on a few. By using an eye dropper and a bunch of alcohol, I drizzle that on the surface of the mold/fungus and then use a brass bristled brush to scrape the surface and scuff it up. Then I drizzle the alcohol again. It normally cures the problem for as much as 6 months compared to Physan 20 or other chemicals I also try in between. On plants, I usually don't use the straight alcohol. It really sucks out moisture and causes some drying problems with roots.
