Sorry guys, I wasn't able to get online yesterday but it seems everything has been explained ..
Yes, advertisements change and as irphrog explained you can become a forum supporter which will eliminate the ads between posts ..
JanetOS explained her 'blonde' moment (It happens to the best of us even to non-blondes ) ..

so Doc .. you are fine .. I told the men in white straight jacket to go away and they did ..
(I asked and they don't have WIFI)

Did Burr find the answers he was looking for?

Hi Dorothy,
Thanks, it will be a few days before I can get to working on the Orchids.
I checked on books today and they didn't have any locally but maybe to morrow I'll ride into Manila and check out the "Big Book Store" in the city.

I am going to try to spend most of a week just inventorying and tagging.

Thanks for asking

This site covers specifically species orchids. No hybrids are included at all. Alot of them have good pictures.
Internet Orchid Species Photo Encyclopedia
That might give you a good base to start with to get a good idea of what types of plants you might have. ie. phalaenopsis, dendrobiums, etc.

OK, I sent my $10. Guess they/he will send me a password or something.

Wi-Fi (IPA: /ˈwaɪfaɪ/) is the trade name for the popular wireless technology used in home networks, mobile phones, video games and more. In particular, it covers the various IEEE 802.11 technologies (including 802.11n, 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11a).

Wi-Fi technologies are supported by nearly every modern personal computer operating system, most advanced game consoles and Laptops, and many printers, and other peripherals.

Now, you know as much as I do!!!

BURR - I use IOSPE all the time and it's free to use .. I am sure your donation will be greatly appreciated !
If you are looking for orchid resources ..
We have a Book Reviews Section on the OB - http://www.orchidboard.com/bookreview
and a number of past threads discussing member's favorites and recommendations -
I list a number of past book threads in this single thread - Books for beginners
With the advent of the internet - I wouldn't think it would be difficult ordering any book online if it isn't available locally.
I hope this helps
