If I leave your answer out or didn't explain it well enough, please let me know.. it wasn't intentional.

Hi Leisurely, those small dens (and phals) I got @ HD.. there were 2 different Dens. one is the darker purple like the pix, the other is a very pale purple. The pale purple has no tag/noid. The one you are asking about isn't going to be much help I don't think. It is labeled Den MC Now I've had mine for about 8 months now...and they spend ALL their time making pretty. You are right.. DOZENS of spikes.. I have a bloom on one or the other or both at all times. So for $4.99 these have been quite fun when everything else is taking its sweet time to ready itself to bloom again. Their stalks just kinda go every which way tho.. but thats ok too, coz as they bloom, the blooms spray all over the place..

Sandy.. I have an over hang where they are now (in the pix) and have a medium size coffe cup type hooks in the wood (they screw up into the over hang and the hook is upside down into the overhang) that I've used for various hanging plants over the years. From that, I have the 6in long S hook and on that which I've hung the decorative chain on it. Each of the 3-4 in pots have the smalll 6in pot hanger on them and they are hooked into the chain. The 5 small pots together are not heavy, I can take that S hook and move it to another spot if I want. Which I do, when I go to my rain water tap to water them all at one time. Once or twice a month, I will remove them and give them a soaking. They seem happy that way. The decorative chain you can find in HD.. its about $2 where all the hanging type products are in the garden shop at HD. I've had that for so long was going to drape it across to hang stuff, but it wasn't long enough to reach my next coffee cup hook, so I let it drop and did this. But I do have to watch the (phals), as they will dry out quicker coz there is a breeze there.

It really isn't hard to do, If you have a place to screw in a medium sized hook.. be it a eye or cup type hook that is stong to hold the weight.. screw it in. Put the 6in long S hook on your hook.. (or make one from an old wire cloths hanger) put the end of the chain on the end of that and let the chain drop.

Get your small potted orchids/plants and put the small plant hooks on them then just hook them into the chain.

OK.. I'm gonna go take a pix of the connect to the over hang.. brb

I'll try to upload these 3 pix here.. I've edited them, but if they need more I'll just put them in my gallery...

OK.. they have to be reduced in size to be put as a thumbnail here..and thats gonna take to long. Please give me a second and they'll be up in the gallery..

JackiBlu, it would be nice to have a name for the plant but I will continue to enjoy them anyhow without a name.
