Kind of hard to tell in this photo, but I think it may be a Phaius. They are terrestrial orchids from Australia. Could you post a larger photo?

Most Stanhopea will have a large rounded pseudobulb with a papery sheath around it, and one leaf.

Phaius have a swollen pseudobulb, but not really rounded and no papery sheath. Many broad leaves on each growth.

Still hard to tell. I'd like to see the lower part of the plant.

Could be a Stanhopea, but I'm not really experienced with this group. It could also be a Gongora or another relative. Still looks like the Phaius (Nun's Orchid) to me.

This is a tough one for me. Could still be any mentioned above. Could be something totally different that I've never seen. Don't worry, someone smarter than me will surely chime in.

i don't think its a Stanhopea.. the leaves look too thin, and the pseudobulbs aren't chunky enough...

A Phaius would make sense, so would a Lycaste

From the foliage and the pseudobulbs I'm going to put my vote on Phaius
