looking for requirements for growing Restrepia lankesteri
Im looking for the recomended requirements for growing restrepia lankesteri. I picked one up the other day and was told it would do fine in my dart frog terrium. I like to do my homework on my plants and I cannot find out much on this one. Im looking for light requirements, watering and temperature. My tank is high humidity, relativly low light, north window, 2-26 watt 6500 spirual bulbs. All I find when googling is where it is found and a lot of pics, no specifics. I guess I like the way Andy's orchids spells out the requirements, thats what im looking for. Thank You, Dan
According to Orchidwiz, this one likes low filtered light (1500-2300fc), day temps 74-77 year round, night temps 51-52, can probably adapt to temps around 10 degrees warmer, humidity 75% most of the time but 60-65% in late summer/early autumn, small pots with fine well-draining medium or mounted tightly to tree-fern, cork or branches with a bit of sphag at the roots.
