New growth, or new spikes? Male
Talking New growth, or new spikes?

Hey everyone,
Here are some pictures of two of my recent purchases. The first two pics are Dend. Spectabile and the other three are C. Leopoldii "Dark Night" x C. Leopoldii "Super Dark."
I think these both are spikes, but not sure, as I am new to orchids. Could you please let me know what you think. These new spikes/growths have grown to about an inch in length in about three weeks.

All of those have new growths...a good thing! The spiking/flowering will all occur on the upper part of leaves of Catts and starting midway up on the bulbs of Dends.
