Thanks, I talk to them sometimes (as I do my 30 other plants) and encourage them to bloom. I have fertilizer, however, I haven't been keeping up on that since it didn't seem to be helping that much. I'll start again and I will increase the waterings a bit.

I haven't re-potted and speaking of which, can I have some advice? somehow I bet the way I do it wont work with an Orchid.

This post on Paphs might help. It talks about them growing and repotting.

All of these posts have helped and I thank you for that. I have one more question. I am going to repot my Paph and I have read the PDF care sheet. However, "most are fine-or medium grade fir bark, with various varying additives" is very vague to me.

Can someone break it down into laymen terms, the best way to repot my Paphs? Thanks

Fine or medium fir bark is usually sold as a seedling mix for young plants. The additives are usually perlite or charcoal, or both, to help open up the mix. I grow mine in sphagnum moss. It helps me to keep them a little wetter in this very dry climate (Reno, NV). Paphs are generally easier to repot, as the roots don't get quite as wild as other chids. Whichever one you use, make sure you soak it well before you use it.

be watchful of those pesky roots, they dont recover well when they are broken which can cause the plants to go even longer before a bloom.
