Two Questions: Temp & Leaf Curling Female
Default Two Questions: Temp & Leaf Curling

I have a Phala and it looks like the leaves are starting to curl inward. What would cause this, and is it a problem?

Our house generally stay between about 77 and 82. I'm guessing this is not enough of a temperature change and was wondering if we should set the A/C lower at night. Also, if we should start setting it lower at night should we do it all year long, or only certain times of year?

NOTE: I have 2 Phals, 2 Dendrobiums(seedlings), 1 Paph(seedling), 1 Miltassia, Trichopilia Tortilis(seedling)

I don't see anything wrong with your A/C setting unless it is blowing straight into it in which case I don't think any orchid would like it, I don't like it either come to think of it.
Personally I've never seen a leave turn inward like that. Do you have a pic? Sounds like she is trying to cover up?
