Losing leaf

I haven't been here in awhile and I forgot how to create a thread.:

This is a close up of the roots, which are growing like snakes. But the root on the right looking at the image has a curled leaf over it and now that leaf is turning color, yellow. Is this natural?
My knowledge from ALL of YOU is that the leaf will die off but it still looks good. yes /no.

The image was taken last week and the leaf is more yellow, and those "snake roots" are a lot bigger.

I hope this is enough.

Hi Peter.

I wouldn't sweat it. Many times roots pushing out will help the older leaves discard themselves. Your seeing new growth from the top. Your plant looks healthy to me. This happends to my phals all the time

Peter, Since it's a bottom leaf that's yellowing, I think that's perfectly normal. To me, the plant looks very healthy. Nice growing!

This is absolutely the norm for phalaenopsis. Many of my phal's have lost the bottom leaf especially when the "snake-like" root shows itself right about the leaf. Normal growth behavior and it most definitely looks extremely healthy. Rest assure you will be florished with awesome blooming goin' on

That right root is probably about 2+"s long now.
The left root is snaking over the top of another leaf and is 3+"s and has reached the edge of the pot.

The last leaf that grew (not the new one), looks like a fan it's so big, so I'm happy with them all.

Question:
The left root, is going to grow over and out of the pot, anything there I should do, or just let mother nature take care of things?
