Part II: The survived a week vacation Male
Default Part II: The survived a week vacation

Of the group left on their position on the window table results were varied. The 5 Masdevallia showed a lot of stress. These had been repotted a week or two before this episode. There was no leaf loss, however.
The catteleya alliance plants in media did well with no evidence of stress. These included:
• Bc Little Mermaid ‘Janet’
• Blc Gold Bug
• Blc Chia Lin ‘New World’
• Blc Halaeha ‘Sunbow’ by Richard Mueller
• Lc Angel Heart ‘Himimanu’
• Lc Long River Compton
• Lc Pisgah Fantasy(C. violaceae ‘Muse”x Lc Hawaiian Fantasy ‘Dora’)
The plants in semi-hydroponics were variable but in truth, these weren’t great before the trip and were probably not worse.

The slipper orchids did OK without any sign of significant stress. In fact, I was surprised to find a spike on the Paph. Norito Hascgawa ‘Leesburg’

My Oncidium Twinkle which was sending up inflorences before the trip showed no slowing of these and some are near blooming.

The Paph. Pinocchio which was on its 6 blossom this year showed further progress of blossom number 7. Blossom 6 fell within the first day back.

C'mon, Nick. Repotting just before abandoning them for a week? What were you thinking? Considering that they have little water-storing capacity, i thing they did well.

All of the others - just what I would have expected.
