Default IS THIS A CYCNOCHES??

I bought this plant on saturday, do you think is a Cycnoches ???.... it has lovely pink flowers and the pseudobulb is cylindric about 30 cm tall... it is leafless... i didn't find any like this on the orchid list... but is similar than Cycnoches Lehmanii...

It doesn't have the charactaristics of a Cycnoches but then, I'm not expert...OH DOROTHY OR SUE??!?!?! Some help, please!

It sure looks like a mormodes. Post a picture of the whole plant? Mormodes in my experience tend to bloom out of the middle of the pseudobulb, cycs near the top, and most catasetums near the base. Probably an over-generalization.

You're right it could be the Mormodes Hirtzii.... the flowers have a beautifull pink....

Definitely a Mormodes. What type? Im not sure, but check out Internet Orchid Species Photo Encyclopedia and Botanical Garden Munich - Dr. Gerlach - The Subtribe Catasetinae - RBO for a picture analysis.

The bloom doesn't look like a Cycnoches to me. Can you post a pic. of the bulb? That would be a big help. It's beautiful no matter what!
