Al it's all good, Brooke and Brook are used to it lol. This happened all the time. I wondered if you had me confused with her when you said that about the species Phals, though I do have some nice ones if I do say so m'self hee hee. However she is the queen of Phals. compared to me, I drool, I sigh, then I count my pennies whenever I see a pic of one. Brooke, I am not sure about the recipe as simple as it is, it always seemed to get flack or start controversy, though I find it works wonders for me.

Brook I must have missed those posts, every post I read raved about it.

Al you need to send Brook and I a list of your phals, we will each pick one out and you can send them to us to make up for the confusion - ROTFLMBO With a new name here, we won't be confused anymore.

Brooke

I definitely accept mail order apologies ROFL!
If anyone is interested in the potion, I'll share. I was told that I should market it, but I have already shared the formula online with the world!
I had actually seen a post with the name Brooke, and knew that must be "the other" hee hee, so I used my dogs name to lower the confusion factor. Yet I still confused poor Al.

Here you go:
1 tsp. cinnamon extract (I fine tune to my preference or orchid problem)this can be found in the spice aisle at the grocery store usually near the vanilla extract, also make sure it is not imitation cinnamon
6-10 drops Dawn dishsoap
1 quart water (for standard spray bottle)
Works well as a fungus killer, leaf cleaner, and all around bug killer/deterrent. Be careful using on sensitive roots, as cinnamon can be a dessicant, I have not had problems with it on Cyms, Catts, Phals, Dends, or Neos. I have also used this on the leaves of my Masde but not the roots.

Does anyone know what happened to OrchidGeeks.com? I was posting to that forum as well, but haven't been able to access the site for awhile now. I just keep getting an error page.
There has been talk in the orchidgeeks forum of moving servers. I suspect this may be the cause of the unusually long downtime.

I'm not certain how any of these boxes work, but I'm here because of your question. I just joined orchid.geeks -- got some good advice and I get the same message regardless of how I approach the site. If you find out what's wrong with them, please let me know. In the interval, I'll enjoy this site. Many thanks.

Poissonnoir ... same with me. I joined OrchidGeeks, got some good advice, then couldn't get on again. I found OrchidBoard after that, and I've gotten some great advice here too. I've always been leary (sp?) of joining forum boards, but this one has been really great so far. There are knowledgeable people here more than happy to answer my beginner questions, and it seems like a fun group. If I see orchidgeeks up again, I'll be sure to post it.
