I know they were having trouble with their server too. So it's just a matter of time before they are up and running again.

Dorothy really is one of the "super moderators". I noticed every time someone calls for her, there's always the flying emoticon with the super hero cape on the post

Hi Al! Hi to everyone else. It's been interesting joining a new forum, and losing (for the time being) the old forum. After a couple of days I felt alone in cyberspace and came here. I admit that I lurked as a guest here before I joined. This is a great forum, I have seen lots of good stuff.

It's great when a forum is self confident enough to allow mention of 'competing' forums. Another orchid forum I tried participating in strictly prohibited mentioning other orchid forums or mentioning orchid vendors for any reason. They also did not allow any constructive criticism and the site owner quickly blocked my IP address when I mentioned their excessive advertising.

Orchidgeeks, on the other hand, is a pretty decent orchid forum. Just wish their site wasn't down so often. Hey Norris, if you're on this forum as well...send me a PM (with your e-mail address) and I'll give you my address to pick up those dragon fruit cuttings.
