Default Water-loving phrags?

I have read about how much phrags love water (Phrag. besseae group) and the dryer growing species (Phrag. caudatum group). I was wondering if anyone could tell me which "lineage" mine derives from , so that I can either give it the moisture it needs or not. thanks!

Phrag. Green Hornet x Phrag. Wallisii
Phrag. Paul Eugene Conroy

"Water-loving" is a relative term. Compared to paphs, for example, ALL phrags like water.

Phrag. Longifolium requires constant moisture according to Charles Baker quoted in OchidWiz 5.0

for me, any cross that is more than 1/2 longifolium, it sits in water about 1/2 way up the pot. anything with less than 1/2, i would consider wat is the genetics of the majority, if itz caudatum or wallisi or besseae, better to grow them drier and NOT in water

Abby,

Your green hornet is a wet grower. You can keep a saucer of water allowing to a constant sip. But flush out every second week.
Your eugene conroy is a mix of wet grower and drier grower (not dry just drier then the wetter growing phrags). I just keep mine very moist and don't allow for dry-out. I also don't let this one sip in a saucer of water.
