Default repotting an Alcra.

Question?
I have an Alcra. Super Nova Butter Bud that after it bloomed in a 5" pot went into a 6" pot and looking just now I have roots that are up out of the medium.Can I go up to an 8'' pot? It has 4 old growths and a new one just starting.

Ed, if the roots in the medium and the p bulbs are at or running over the edge of the pot then I would say yes.
If it's just the air roots overflowing the pot then I would say no.

I hope others will chime in, I only have three of these and that's the way I'm treating mine. It could very well be wrong but I'm getting excellent new growth.

Al;
Thanks I think you're right and I will wait to see what others say also.
