Incidentally - in one of the scenes the murdered beheads some of the orchids - sacrilege I know, just wondering whether these are likely to be rescuable afterwards? I know you are supposed to cut the stalk down after they bloom anyway...any tips would be gratefully appreciated...don't want to see them go to waste!

If you are talking about the flower stems - yeah, the plant should be fine afterwards, and will bloom again next year given the correct conditions.

What the heck happens to all of those plants after you are done filming? Are you going to suddenly have a large orchid collection? (That would be fantastic! And you could count on us here to give you all the information that you needed to grow them - and answer any questions that you had!)

if you are talking about flower stems, orchids make great cut flowers that will last for about two weeks!
