Yellow Leaves on Moth orchid
I have a problem with one of my "moth" phal orchids. I have 2 that I received about 3 weeks apart as gifts. One was quite large (8-10" leaves) and was in a moss/dirt media. The other was in moss and much smaller. After blooming, I cut the spikes back and repotted each of them into bark. The small one is doing great. It lost one leaf and that was all. This large one lost 2 so far with a 3rd that will be gone by tomorrow. In every case, the leaves turn a yellow color at the crown and then the yellow color spreads down the center of the leaf. The yellow color seems to be noticible on the bottom of the leaf first, then the top turns yellow, and in about 24 hours, it drops. It is a leaf at the bottom of the plant but if this one goes, only one large leaf and one small leaf (it was on it at the time I received it but it looks like a young leaf) will be left. Today, I pulled it out of the pot and returned it to a terracotta pot in bark media. The roots seemed damp and some were a bit gray but not overly squishy and no bugs. The leaves are a glossy grass green and firm before this happens. The plant is literally sitting right next to the other, smaller, and very happy moth orchid so I do not think it is lighting. They both are watered on the same schedule as well. It is not a sunburn (I sunburned my cane orchid recently but it forgave me). Any advice?
