Question encylia or epidendrum?

well hi everybody, this is my first post and i just recived a wonderful shipment of 'chid's and adore them. but this has me vexed, i got "Epidendrum fragrans" i have read about it but i think it could be encyclia Frgns. is there a major diffence in care?

Hello and welcome to Orchidboard

I checked in Orchidwiz and found this:

Prosthechea fragrans is the accepted species for E. (Encyclia) fragrans

...and this:

Prosthechea fragrans is the accepted species for Epi (Epidendrum) fragrans

"They" keep changing things around...it's hard to know what's what
