encylia or epidendrum?

well hi everybody, this is my first post

and i just recived a wonderful shipment of 'chid's and adore them. but this has me vexed, i got "Epidendrum fragrans" i have read about it but i think it could be encyclia Frgns. is there a major diffence in care?
