By now you will have seen that those are new growths . Hope you have lifted the bulbs above the level of the media,if not you still have time, so do it now!!

The plant has long since been adjusted.

They're not new growths, they're spikes---all but two of them. They're currently developing their buds but the sheath-like aspect of the spike has opened and now all the 12+ buds on each spike are starting to emerge.

So like, 6 spikes in total, 4 on one plant and 2 on the other.
