There used to be (maybe still is) a product we called Bio-plastic. A 2-part resin that you poured into molds. Never could get a really clear mount though.

Marty - I think the eposy might be great too but i don't necessarily know if it will be to nice and clear. And there's always the bubble problems. I'm gonna search for the stuff that Ross suggested :) The internet is great ain't it.
