How about this shot. It's different from the original that I thought "might have been a spike".
Is this just another form of a root developing?
Oh, I decided to check out my camera, to see how to use it. I believe this close up isn't blurred.

That is also a root. Roots are good though so you should be proud of your hard work!

Well Peter, at least you have learned how to use your camera better! Always have to look for the good things!
Just keep doing what you are doing with the plant, it is obviously happy or you wouldn't be getting all the new root growth.
