If, on the other hand, I can isolate them, elevate the temperatures, humidity and feeding program, I can raise them to maturity in as little as 12 months, then cool them down to get spikes.
On the genetic side, don't buy a Paph. sanderianum seedling if you're over 40, as you may never see it bloom!
