I bought this phal. last Oct, it keep blooming until now and has a new spike too, some days ago, I found a new small leaf near the root, is it a new baby? I have never seen it before.

First of all and to the OB !!! Just like Dorothy says it looks like a basal keiki (baby) it will grow with time and you will have 2 plants instead of 1. Do not remove it and you'll be by the show in which two plants can put on. and once again welcome. Enjoy the forum !!!!

thanks, all of you, I'm very happy here.

it has lots of healthy roots, some really big leaves, it already has a big new leaf this spring, and the second new leaf is coming.
