I have to agree with you 110%!!! I feel like I have some problem because I have had dreams about orchids, I am constantly thinking of when I can get my next one, and I am running over the different names and things in my head all the time! I spout out orchid care information as if it were proper cocktail party language. My friends think I have lost it and my b/f is in close second. I received a new Vanda last week which you would think would be enough for awhile (especially since I am currently most obsessed with Vandas), but no it was not. I have started going home at lunch some days to water them a second time if it will not rain that day (the vandas only). I received another new Vanda yesterday and am already focused on how to get another orchid! Is there some way to slow down this disease? I am really out of room....
I agree too that they all have their own personality. I alos think they benefit from words of encouragement.

You sound like you are really on the slippery slope. Isn't it fun?

Ross I've done that . If I see that I'm running out of space I go to HD and buy materials to build more shelves

I am a newbie with all those same chid emotions!..I missed tuning in to the forums these last 2 days...had to go to work...stopped in the supermarket Sunday evening to pick up milk!..came out with milk and a new phal!...now I have 4 chids!...and right now 3 (the phals) are on the kitchen counter..happily visiting while I do dishes, cook etc!..the Den is on the sheltered little deck with other happy houseplants out for the season!..and, I would have to admit, I've been looking online..what do I want next!!!!! It's wonderful to share all this passion with so many others...thanks for sharing with me..Eileen

It sure is nice to have others who understand this obsession as Peggy said.
I try the rearranging thing too and generally notice that I have a harder time fitting them all back into the space which they all fit into before! I can't figure it out.... Need more shelves!
