leca is awesome used for s/h or just in place of other mediums ....but there are a few exceptions for me...zootrophiums dont like it much and a few other types that prefer spagh due to liking more acid mediums.
My den aggregatium dosent do badly in it but it pushes itself right out of the pot as new leads come from the bottom and grow out
I have begun using it a year or so ago with Pleurothallids by mixing sphagnum with it.(interspersing is more accurate).It works for me,and live moss soon grows on the surface concealing all,and holding everything together.(it tends to roll out of the pot when tilted.
