Default New beginning

Hello out there in the whole wide world

After my vacation, I've started at school again, so therefor I haven't been on the board in a few months.
But now I'm back, and have new pictures...

I was finally able to get hand on some orchids besides phals, most likely a dendrobium hybrid, it has alot of Den bigibbum species in it's background I'm told

The other new one is probably a Burrageara Nelly Isler. '

I thank god of this board, because it hadn't been possible for me to find out what sort of orchids I've got, if it hadn't been for this board and it's people..

So enjoy the pictures of my new "babies"

I love your new orchids! Nelly Isler is one of my favorite hybrids. Has it started to be fragrant yet? That's what I love the most about this one!

I haven't noticed any fragrant yet, but I just bought them yesterday. And I am "blessed" with not so good smelling-sence. So all together it maybe my smelling-sence that's missing...

I've noticed that the flowers develop their fragrance about 5 to 6 days after they open, and it is strongest around midday. I think it smells a bit like spices, lemon and soap. In late afternoon and the evening it does not smell at all.
