Phaph With flower, Low Nite temps?

I recently bought a mottled leave paph, purple lip, the 2 sepals are mostly purplish with black dots over a slight greenish background, on the middle length of the sepal. The top part of the phaph is stripped purple and white. Hope this makes sense. I will try to post photo. My question finally is: With the phaph in bloom, does it still need the low nite temp difference? I've been reading thru different threads, but haven't found my specific answer. Also the plant is in a tall pot(which i don't like). I realize i can't repot till after bloom is gone. It is potted in spag moss, and i have to pretty much put my finger half way done to tell if it needs watering. I know they need to be kept moist,not soggy. But this one is dry 1/3 of top, then i can feel it moist after that. It's been years since i had a phaph and this is only mt second one. I'd like to keep it healthy. I've been reading about care/culture. But, to my specific question, i could not find an answer to. Need to hear from my new Orchid buddies that i have heard from here, and everyone .
