Default one last pic..my orchid shelves outside

Guess who again?!
I'm sorry if I'm boring you with all the pics, but this is the last one I have to share (for now lol). I just wanted to show you where I keep my orchids, for the most part. Since I'm not lucky enuff to have a gh, I have all of them but 6 outside..on the back porch, on shelves facing east. There are 3 dens. of the remaining 6 plants inside..in front of an east window (the pic I took didn't turn out good, so that's one less you have to look at. lol)..and the last 3 plants are also inside..2 on a south window sill and 1 hanging (pic in my last thread). I'll welcome and appreciate any advice concerning these locations. Alabama weather is certainly not the best for growing orchids in natural conditions, but it sure could be worse...so I'm trying to make the best of it.
Vicki

Awesome pics Vicki!!! All your orchids (including the ones in the other threads) look terrific and healthy! And I'm with Wanda, we NEVER get sick at looking at orchid pics.

Yup, pics are ALWAYS ok. Just one thought, on a covered porch, the sun is blocked for most of the day, except for early and late. The lower a plant is on the rack, the more light it will receive. The higher, the less sun (or less time in the sun). If the Phal is happy where it is, the Dendrobiums may not get enough good light there. It may be a good spot while they're in bloom, but they'll definitely need more light than Phals. Just my , it looks like you're doing great. Thanks for sharing!

Default thank you

Thank you for the gr8 tip, Royal! Wow...I never thought of that...about my covered porch and the sun, that is. I guess I just assumed it was the other way around, but I see now that I was wrong...so, thanks bringing my attention to it.
Vicki
