Problem with my Cattleya :-(
Unhappy Problem with my Cattleya :-(
- my name is Ann and I am a new member on the site. I have had orchids for about 12 years and I have just sort of winged my way through and have had very good luck so far with all my orchids (about 10 right now).

I have a problem with my Cattleya. It is the first Orchid my late husband gave me and I hate to lose it. It has had several old leaves turn yellow and dry up. Then it has new shoots that grow bright green with sap on them. Then the very tips turn jet black and the new stem dies. Any suggestions from those of you that have more expertise? Thanks and have a great today!

Do you have any pics of the catt? What kind of water and light is it getting? What is it potted in? Anyhoo, maybe we can go from there!
