Orchid Hydroponics??? Anyone use this system?

Hello all,

Has anyone used 'Hydroponics' with their orchids? I have been seeing a lot of it when surfing on the web...here is an example of a page that I found:

Hydroponics for Orchids

It really sounds too good to be true...do not know if it is a gimmick or a convenient way to keep orchids.

Can anyone share their experience if they have tried this?
