My new setup Male
Default My new setup

Hi all. Here is my new test setup. If it works well I will make a larger one.

It's against the screen on my balcony for better light and air circulation. I put the second screen so it's not direct sunlight. I rasied them off the ground and used a metal screen for better drainage and air circulation from the bottom.

What do you all think? Any suggestions?? Thank you very much!

Thumbs up

Beautiful!!! It looks like you put a lot of thought into the design. It looks wonderful, I like the screen also, a very natural look!

Default Suggestion

Hi! Your setup is very nice, clean and neat.

However, I have one suggestion.

I suggest that the dish that you put under the orchid to catch excess water should be deeper and bigger. Maybe a rectangular planter that could cover more of the bottom of the setup.

It is very hard to make sure that that dish catches all the water. It is better just to have a big container at the bottom so you can just water to your heart's delight.

And not have to mop all the time.

Just my .

Diane
