cirillonb, i have only had luck w/ one spag-n-bag..it was a very mature phal w/ 3 leaves (one of which died) and root rot to ALL roots..i have two tiny roots and they seem to be doing fine..even have a new leaf..!! maybe it will work..!! i do keep moistened spag next to the roots to help them say moist and grow..good luck w/ your "bag"..

i would wait until i have at least active root growth..that one took me about a month..
