Heating vent bad for dendrobium?

So I measured the light intensity of the window my dendrobium was in and discovered it probably wasn't getting near enough light for it to bloom. I moved it to a much more superior spot. However, I'm worried, because the plant stand is sitting right on top of a heating/air conditioning vent. Will this harm the dendrobium?

I don't think so. If you are really worried, Home Depot carries clear plastic shields that deflect the draft away from upwards (like into the room) not a bad idea anyways as it get the warmth and coold where you want it.
