good!!! you got a new healthy plant!!! thank goodness for warrenties!

Its a good thing too! These are pictures of the Odcm. Tiger Crow 'Golden Girl' that I have had for about a month. As you can see, this type of oncidium intergeneric should not have 'crinkles' in the pseudobulbs.

good luck with your new plant!! --Its the 'coconut' orchids, right?

Yep,

It's a coconut.

I'm a little bit worried, though, because they only had twi oncidium-type orchid left in the store, same variety (both were the coconut ones)--one plant had these black gouge marks on it, but otherwise smooth looking pbulbs, while the other plant had very wrinkly and dried out looking pbulbs (worse that my golden girl). I asked and they told me it had just arrived from the grower and was supposed to be healthy. So, I went with the one with the better looking pbulbs. (I still want another golden girl and will be purchasing one later from this awesome orchid nursury I found when looking for S/H medium and fungicide)

I posted pics of my new coconut orchid, and Ross said it could be either mechanical or fungal, so I sprayed it twice (waited 48 hours been sprayings) with Phylum (sp) 20.

I'll post pics of it here as well...do you think it's just mechanical damage, or should I take it back yet again?

I was planning on moving it to S/H soon as new root growth has just started, but I'll wait on that until I hear back from you all about whether or not I should return it again.

Niki
