Cut the spike to promote root growth?
If this orchid lives a long, healthy life, it will have very little to do with me and everything to do with you guys! When I repotted my phal, I had to cut about 80% of the roots due to root rot. It still has three or four nice healthy roots, and the plant appears to be doing wonderfully, but that's a lot of roots to have to grow back! Should I cut the two still-flowering spikes to help it along? I appreciate all your help!
