Hi Wayne

I moved your thread out of the Identification forum...I think you'll get more feedback here in the Beginner Discussion forum.

Here's a little info on Schoenorchis fragrans:
IOSPE PHOTOS

I have one of these ...it's mounted on a stick, gets very high light, watered once a day and the entire plant is the size of a U.S. quarter

It's in bud right now, hopefully we'll see blooms in the next day or two

It looks interesting. I wish I could do a better job with orchids on a mount. It is just too dry in my home and it is difficult for me to keep those tiny ones alive. ----Marilyn

Hi Wayne -
This plant is vandaceous and likes similar care: hot, sunny, humid. It is not quite as wet-loving as the big vandas, probably because it usually is mounted and can hold a little water.
I can't imagine succeeding with it in Canada (or indoors).
But orchids are nothing if not contrary.
Regards - Nancy
