Question Terminology and abbreviations

Hi, I'm new to the website and new to orchids. Is there a location to learn the abbreviations used by the members? Such as SH?

Well, I'll start off; SH stands for Semi-Hydroponics. You can find the abbreviations that are used for orchids on Royal Horticultural Society - Plants: Orchids Btw welcome to OB.

Welcome! One I'll throw in there is NOID. I am almost embarrassed to admit that while lurking here before I began posting, it took me about a week to figure out what NOID was. I sure felt like an idiot when I learned it was as simple as it looks: No ID for those orchids without known names.

Check out the Glossary in the Site Menu, on the left of this page. Welcome aboard, and have fun.
