Yeah and if the sphag isn't drying out within the week/two weeks i would add in 50% styrofoam peanuts or something so that it does dry out faster.

I've been a chronic over waterer. I think the solution is to accumulate more orchids so that you don't get to watering them all quite so often. Seems to be working for me anyways!
