Question Lophiaris Microchilum help

I just got a package today containing my new baby dendrobiums. (Thank you Vanessa). as a suprise gift in my package was a Lop. Microchilum. Ok, get ready, you might as well start to chuckle now. I Have no clue about anything with this particular species. Ive got over 50 orchid plants now, so you think i'd be a little more educated. So, i guess today im the newb. I'm not having much luck finding anything online. Can I get a little bit of an education here? as to lighting, what family they are from, favorite medium, are they happy with being mounted?

It's a typical, "mule-eared oncidium". I had a beautiful specimen before the "big freeze" that wiped out my entire collection.

Grow it bright in an airy mix, water and feed heavily while in active growth, slack off when not.
