Default Damaged crown on Phal.

I was unlucky, and this plant falled down from the table, and damaged the crown.
There was an old leaf and a new one, that broke of.
I was about to repot, and since there where a lot of helthy, new roots, i repotted it in S/H.
Now it standing on the table, in S/H, and with a clear plastic-bag over the hole plant to help it recover. I also used cinnamon to seal of the wound where the damaged was done.
Is there anything more i can do?
Will there grow a new leaf from the damaged crown?

Im not any good chid-mummy...

That doesn't look all that bad. It will probably just keep growing from the center, and if that fails, a basal growth will likely form. Don't lose too much sleep over it.

I don't know if this is the same or not but I had a phal that lost several of it's top most leaves due to light damage. It was a smaller plant but the crown looked similar to yours. Within a month it was sprouting a new center leaf. I was surprised and very happy! So I hope yours does the same. I am constantly amazed at how strong orchids can be.
