Default Aircone pots...?

Hello, all! I've been using clay pots up till now, and given the difficulty of repotting (thanks to all who helped with advice regarding my severely pot-bound BLC), I'm now considering some alternatives. Anyone have any experience with those Aircone plastic pots?

Yes, I use them on quite a few of my 'chids. They're sort of see thru, at least you can see the amount of moisture and condition of roots.

I have a couple of plants in air-cone pots. They seem to be doing well and appreciate the additional air to the root zone. I do find the large pots a bit awkward to handle. A round pot for me is easier to hold under the sink. I can just roll it across my palms to rotate it. Can't do that with the air-cone. My personal preferance is round pots but that's just been my experience.

My air cone pots are round and approx 3" diameter. The cone goes up the center from below.

The Rand Air-Cone pots are all square. There are other clear pots with a cone but they aren't called Air-Cone I don't think.

Maybe so. The ones I use have the same cone in the bottom. They are Clear Plastic Orchid Pots from Calwest.

I've got the same round pots you have. I think Air-Cone is a trademarked name of Rand.

I have most of my Phal.'s in Air-Cone pots and they are doing great as I can tell when to water them much easier.
