I'm one of those who do the same routine all the time. I use Dyna-Grow "Bloom" all year round. Most of my plants are good "growers" as well as "bloomers". Of course I withold fertilizer when i stop the water for plants that have a dormant period.
I don't really know if this is really the best way, but it seems to work well for me, and I like to
keep it SIMPLE.
