I'd give Paphs or Phrags a try. Paphs you can grow alongside your Phals as they like pretty much the same conditions, perhaps a bit moister. Phrags like a little more light and a lot more water. I really don't think you can over water these guys. Flowers on both are very pretty and unusual.
